Tanya Rathee, the founder and creative head of LàTaRa, is a designer whose journey is deeply rooted in a passion for craftsmanship, storytelling, and innovation. A graduate in Fashion and Textiles, Tanya honed her skills working with some of the industry's leading designers and multinational fashion houses, gaining invaluable experience in both creative design and global fashion dynamics.

Driven by a desire to bring a fresh perspective to children's couture, Tanya launched LàTaRa—a label that artfully combines contemporary silhouettes with the richness of timeless craftsmanship. Inspired by everything from the poetry of William Wordsworth to the regal traditions of India, her designs reflect a blend of finesse, tradition, and imagination.

LàTaRa, named by fusing Tanya’s initials with the Hindi word for “star,” embodies her vision of creating exceptional, handcrafted ensembles for children aged 1 to 16. Under her direction, the brand celebrates heirloom embroideries and artisanal techniques, reimagined through a refined and modern lens.

With every collection, Tanya Rathee continues to set a new standard in children's luxury fashion—where art meets elegance, and every piece tells a story.
